Dr Tanya Routledge

General Dentist

Dr. Tanya Routledge is originally from Cape Breton Island and has been practicing family dentistry in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island since her graduation from Dalhousie University’s Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree program in 2000. In 2016, Dr. Routledge opened her new modern dental clinic, Downtown Dental.

Dr. Routledge regularly attends numerous continuing education courses and a monthly dental study club to keep up to date with the latest in dental technologies and practices. She has attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies to learn the latest aesthetic and neuromuscular treatment techniques.

Dr. Routledge is a member in good standing of the Canadian Dental Association, the Prince Edward Island Dental Association, and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
Dr Sweta Saddu

General Dentist

Dr. Shweta Saddu is a dedicated General dentist originally from India. She moved to Canada in 2019, where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree with honours at the University of Toronto. She then practiced in the Greater Toronto area before moving to PEI and joining our team!

Dr. Saddu began her career in India after earning her bachelor's and master's degrees in dental sciences (BDS, MDS-Oral Medicine and Radiology) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2014. She brings a wealth of experience, having worked as an associate dentist, a dental school lecturer, and owned a practice for three years.

Dr. Saddu is passionate about all areas of general dentistry. She is committed to continuing education and professional development. She is focused on providing personalized care to ensure each patient feels comfortable and confident in their smile while supporting patients' long-term oral health.

Fluent in Hindi and English, Dr. Saddu enjoys connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds. She is a proud member of the Canadian Dental Association and the Prince Edward Island Dental Association.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and exploring the island she now calls home.
